Of course, I was already completely familiar with Shinedown's 45 - Acoustic rather than the original version, so to hear the on sing their acoustic version live in Kansas City was truly wonderful for me.
45 has always been such a deep and meaningful so to me, despite not being able to connect the lyrics the same way that Brent Smith does, especially during these sorts of concerts. I especially love watching Shinedown perform live on YouTube, because it just means that I can listen to Brent talk about each and every song.
Once again, I discovered this song through letting the whole album of Somewhere In The Stratosphere play through, especially since it it s straight after Shed Some Light. My favourite part of 45 - Acoustic, other than the amazing introduction that instantly captivates me, is definitely the final chorus, because there is so much passion behind the music that you can just feel at one with it. But last of all , each of the choruses are sang so well that I am extremely jealous if everyone who was able to see Shinedown perform on their acoustic tour live, because the passion that goes into each song would just blow me away on the stage!
I know that 45 is definitely a must for me to learn on guitar, since it is right at the too of my list, if only I could play the F-minor!
I would lastly like to thank each and every one of you guys for taking the time to read through all of my posts when they become available, your support truly means a lot to me, and I hope to hear from you all in the future!
I'll see you all next Thursday!

P.S I'll leave the lyrics to 45 - Live Acoustic From Kansas City below incase you're interested!
Send away for a priceless gift
One not subtle, one not on the listSend away for a perfect world
One not simply, so absurd
In these times of doing what you're told
Keep these feelings, no one knows
What ever happened to the young man's heart
Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart
And I'm staring down the barrel of a 45,
Swimming through the ashes of another life
No real reason to accept the way things have changed
Staring down the barrel of a 45
Send a message to the unborn child
Keep your eyes open for a while
In a box high up on the shelf, left for you, no one else
There's a piece of a puzzle known as life
Wrapped in guilt, sealed up tight
What ever happened to the young man's heart
Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart
Everyone's pointing their fingers
Always condemning me
And nobody knows what I believe
I believe
And I'm staring down the barrel of a 45,
And I'm swimming through the ashes of another life
There's no real reason to accept the way things have changed
Staring down the barrel of a 45
45
Staring down the barrel of a 45
