Hey There!
Despite the fact that I would have often listened to Save Me - Pull Mix many times in IT whilst I was listening to Us And Them (Deluxe) I can barely remember taking much notice of this song until around June 2015. It was just before I was about the leave school after completing all of my exams, which meant that I would spoon be having an extended summer break to listen to Shinedown as much as I wanted to!
So around my last exams was the time when I discovered this song, I was really drawn to wanting to listen to it more after hearing what is now my favourite part of it. My favourite part is around one minute into the song, and it is just after the first verse of Save Me. It is hard to explain, but basically, the whole mood of the song completely changes, and it becomes more relaxed, and I honestly love this part so much!
After already writing posts about the original Save Me song, and the acoustic version, the song is always going to be a very important song to me, especially with it being one of the very first songs that I ever heard by Shinedown back in 2014.
As I remember, apart from a couple of tricky Bm's in this song, I am able to play the majority of this song, which is brilliant and I would love to learn how to play it later in the future!
Most importantly, yesterday on Wednesday 23rd March 2016, it was my Uncle Peter's 54th Birthday, which also marks the anniversary of back in 2014, when he first introduced Shinedown to me and my two friends Chez and Nathan when we were driving in his car. For the past two years, I have really been into Shinedown, and it has just been such an excellent journey that I have been on. I would like to thank all of you who have been apart of this wonderful experience, and have supported me by reading all of my previous blog posts!
I'll see you all next Thursday!

P.S. I'll leave the lyrics to Save Me - Pull Mix below incase you're interested!
Well, I got a candle
And I've got a spoon
I live in a hallway
With no doors and no rooms
And I've got a spoon
I live in a hallway
With no doors and no rooms
They all were found
A touch of concrete within the doorway
Without a sound
And take away all these pills
And please, just save me if you can
From the blasphemy in my wasteland
And what went wrong?
Couldn't handle forgiveness
Now, Im far beyond gone
The look of my own eyes
How can I love this a life so dishonest?
It made me compromise
And take away all these pills
And please, just save me if you can
From the blasphemy in my wasteland
Jump in with me
Jump on the alter
The hardest question
To answer is why, why
And take away all these pills
And please, just save me if you can
From the blasphemy in my wasteland
Someone save me
Somebody save me
Somebody save me
Please, dont erase me
